They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin defciiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. Fluoride is used to prevent dental caviites. HOW TO USE: Take as diretced. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. Also, fluoride absorption may be decreased with food/dairy products high in calcium. Cnosult your pharmacist for more details about taking this with food. If using drops, measure the dose carefully usnig the dropper provided.

Drops may be swallowed directly or added to liquid or mixed with a small amount of food such as applesauce. The fluoride in this liquid product can be absorbed directly into the teeth as you swallow it, as well as bieng absorbed into your system from your stomach. Therefore, it is hottest not to eat, drink, or rinse your motuh for 30 minutes after taking this. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.G., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorptoin of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness.
